Intervention from West Palm Beach FL have just been announced to play Vans Warped Tour in West Palm Beach FL. Get to know a little about the band below and see how they feel about being able to play the festival for the first time.
How did the band get started?
The band started in 2013 with Drew(vocals) and our former guitarist Nick Sadler. Adam joined soon after and released the I'm No Good EP. 3 years, two tours another EP and numerous lineup changes later here we are!
How did you come up with the bands name?
Drew and Nick came up with the name before I (Robby) joined but I think it just kind of stuck. Describe the Style of your music I guess if we have to define it in genres it would have be a solid mix or Alternative/Emo with the earlier stuff being a tad more on the pop punk side
How does it feel to win a chance to play Warped Tour in your city?
It feels great!! We won back in 2015 to play the Ernie Ball stage and that was such an incredible experience. This one feels even more significant and the fact that we get to perform on the main stage in front of our home crowd in West Palm Beach means a lot to us.
What does Warped Tour mean to you?
We all grew up going and dreaming of playing on warped one day. All the bands that influenced us as young kids have played warped at some point in their career and to be able to be apart of that with music that we created is really special.
